Artist Statement:
Nature and the romantic ideas
of man is a main theme in my
work.
Often animals as a subject are
used to carry the journey, the
adventure, inquiry.
Instinct, victory, desires,
fate, goals....we are human.
Colour, and contrasts, so
brillant here in the South of
France are used with bold
strokes and thinly sprayed
layers.
If we not learn from
ourselves, then how can we
learn from nature?
Or is it all vanity...ha?!
