"Nature, myth and magic inspires me to create artwork that makes people smile"
Alison Ashwell is an author/illustrator specialising in painting the natural world and children's illustration.
Initially noted for watercolour, gouache and fabric artwork; Alison now specialises in bringing traditional painting skills to digital media.
She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
