This collection presents a real unity, one uses, indeed the same scale for the reproduction. One foot percent height gauges, what corresponds in our metric system to a scale of 1/600. Because of their sizes, models can be only of a single detail. They are established(constituted) by several wooden trays or "table" reunited some in the others by a system of fixation. The number of table varies according to the dimensions of the site. The manipulation of the plans reliefs is particularly delicate. The cut of tables is often irregular, coinciding with elements natural as streams, to mask joins. Tables are made as a box, the top is constituted by wooden blades to avoid at most the inevitable set of the wood. This part is then sculptured relief to restore the rough terrain, the harshness of the ground are then returned by the chewed box modelled in the hand.
The processes of flocage are realized with fine synthetic particles in the different colours to return the aspect of grounds and cultures. Once the ended grounds, it is necessary to pass in the dressing of tables. Fortifications, houses, public or religious buildings. They are cut except for in small blocks of soft wood before being stuck on the model. These elements of architectures are dressed in engraved paper imitating the drawing of stones or various used materials: tiles, slates, thatch, etc.... The peculiarities of the local architectures are in cotton or silk fibers rolled up around slender threads of metal. The sorts are differentiated by their shape as by their colour.
