Artist Statement:
I am a Latin American artist
from Costa Rica, a small
beatiful country in Central
America. I grew up in this
tropical paradise, with
temperatures of 72F all year
round.
The mountains and forest are
green a colorful always, and
there is rain in the afternoon
between June and November.
I studied Fine Arts, Graphic
Design and Airbrush
Illustration at the University
of Costa Rica, Southern
Methodist University of
Dallas, and The Art Institute
of Dallas, in that order.
I worked for several years in
Graphic Design and Airbrush
Illustration in Costa Rica as
well as in Dallas.
I have participated in Group
Exhibition in Costa Rica and
the USA and during the last
four years in seven Solo
Exhibitions in Costa Rica and
Solo Exhibition in Long
Beach,California.
I hope that my painting
reflects the spiritual
calmness of our surroundings,
a mysterious silence and the
native color of my country.
