AMBER FOOT
ARTIST STATEMENT
A particular focus on
expressive colour and
uncontrollabe shapes and
shadows dominates each series
of Amber's work. Within the
art works expressive, yet
subtle forms lies stories of
landscape and nature. Her main
influences are Australian
artists Andy Goldsworthy and
Sydney Nolan, and old masters
such as Henri Matisse.
Since exhibiting at a number
of venues in Australia in
2003, Amber has been working
on a number of events held in
the UK. Currently she is the
artistic programmer for The
Fire Festival
