Artist Statement
My scroll paintings are a cross between my studies in Chinese ink painting and composition and my professional background in traditional hand drawn animation. My work reflects my interest in autobiographical memories, man vs. nature, political and social satire.
I'm particularly interested in blurring the lines between decorative art and contemporary conceptual ideas.
