Artist Statement:
The intercourse between viewer and artwork in itself must be a creative communion. My work is always closely connected with the forms of life around me. When the work goes really well it takes on a life of its own and my hand becomes a tool of conduction for past experiences, observations, forms and colours....

Gallery One-Twenty-One, 48 Bridge Street East, BELLEVILLE, Ontario
Gallery 121 is a non-profit cooperative Art Gallery founded in 1992
by Quinte area visual artists to provide exhibition space for members
and guest artists.
Styles range from realism to abstract in media such as oils, acrylics,
watercolours, crayons, graphics, pastels, fibre, bronze, wood and
stone. Thus the art shows are attractive to all visitors.
Every 6 weeks the displayed work changes and one of our members
displays a larger body of work. An invited guest artist also shows
work.
The Gallery is funded by the member artists who volunteer their time
sitting. Gallery 121 is located next door to Dinkel's Restaurant and
is open Tuesday thru Saturday from 11am-5pm.
We welcome associate members who support our gallery by donating
$20.00 annually and who in some cases volunteer their time.
Our website is www.geocities.com/gallery121 and you can reach us
via email at gallery121@yahoo.com.
