Artist Statement:
My paintings are a chronicle
of my life. I paint what I
feel, what I see, and what I
believe. As a visionary I
convey the hours of reverie,
and memories that ebb and
flow. Inspired by people and
things that captivate me, I
tell about them. Drawn to the
sublime mysteries of the
supernatural, I explore it.
Piece by piece. I'm drawn to
the quirky, fanciful and
romantic. Creating art takes
courage. To be me I must
abandon all rules and just do
it my way; I even finger-paint
and always color outside the
lines. I've studied the
Masters but I'm completely
self-taught. I love to draw,
paint and restore. As with
life, my art changes and
grows. These wings fit the
sky. Through my art I campaign
for the animals, bringing
awareness to charities I
support that protect, rescue
and care for them. I paint
mermaids to promote the
importance and beauty of the
sea. I dive fearlessly into
vivid hues and colors that
shimmer for jointly they
create a harmonious delight
and glamour that instantly
uplifts the spirit. I create
art because it also heals,
like quiet angels. I invent
characters that ...
