Artist Statement for Andres Guso

|
I began as an oil painter of landscapes mainly Mediterranean villages and beaches. From painting sand, water and sky chromatic combination I discovered the richness of single colours. I am embarked since then in the search of the abstract expression, in the discovery of colours intensity and simplicity, working with them over the canvas surface to bring in unexpected visions. Shape is loosing interest in favour of the colour that emerges as the key role in the canvas theater.
