|
‘I live to create, I create to live’
My name is Lili Andriani, I am a professional artist living and working on the Gold Coast, in Queensland, Australia.
My interest in Art started when I was just 5years old, since then I have integrated my artistic nature throughout my life, private and professional, it has always been a part of me and has made me who I am today.
I feel very privileged to be an artist that lives her truth, by passion to create from the soul, and the luxury to do so as an fulltime occupation. Until the opening of my art studio in Ashmore Plaza Shopping Centre, where I create on the premises, I never realized how much of an impact my art really makes. This has been a great opportunity to liaise with the people in my community as a ‘one on one’ approach of communication that has created an more personal relationship and understanding between us. I feel humbly honoured by the admiring reaction and statements made about my work by local shoppers who frequent the Plaza and the huge encouragement I am receiving from my fellow artists who state that I am inspiring them to create outside the box, how ironic, my studio is a box but that does not cramp my creative style, that comes from a higher plane.
expressed through my art, hence the size and spiritual nature of the latest painting ‘Earth Angels’ which is actually as high as the ceiling in the shopping centre, 9 sq metres all up and my studio is tiny but I manage to create and display a good selection of my work from there. I feel a universal connection when I create a piece and the freedom that I can only be
I have never been so happy in my work as I am today, I really feel blessed.
