ORIGINAL PAINTINGS BY ARTIST ANGELA KERBEL
Angela Kerbel, Venezuelan artist, studied art at the Caracas School of Art and Journalism at The Andres Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela. Later, she continued her education at The Tate Gallery while living in London. In The United States, she furthered her art education at The National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., The Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, Virginia and The Florida International University.
Her work brings the reminiscence of Byzantine mosaics with the
subjectivity and interpretation of bright,pure and saturated color combination based on the chrome and its expressional values, adding with her pieces of color, spatial interest to a three-dimensional form that can be varied in character and structure
AngelaKerbel has participated in numerous solo and collective exhibitions in Caracas, and Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela; Alexandria, Virginia; Tampa and Miami, Florida. Her paintings are in private collections in the United States as well as in Canada and Indonesia.
