Artist Statement:
Exploring all the vast
possibilities of the utilized
techniques, these «
Metamorphoses » unveil the
mystery and marvellous hidden
sides of the real.
An original picturesque world
at the edge of reality and
imagination, where flowers,
conches and shells, minute
details emerge from a
dream-like light and
atmosphere, re-created by the
artist.
Painter, drawer, engraver,
Ankoutza lives and works in
Paris, France. After a
master's degree from the
National Institute of Fine
Arts of Bucharest she pursued
as a teacher of fine arts, an
illustrator set and costume
designer and in the same time
participated in various group
and solo exhibitions ( 2003,
2002, 2001, 2000, 1998 Drawing
and Watercolor Exhibition,
Paris, Espace Eiffel-Branly ;
