Welcome to Anne Kent's Portfolio.
'Hello, My name is Anne Kent and I paint with wax. Known as Encaustic Art , I use the molten wax to create my paintings. Different low heat tools and brushes are used. The colours are so vibrant and the techniques so varied that each piece is an ‘adventure’ to paint!
I trained at Art College in my teens and was employed as a lettering and layout artist for some years.
I also spent many years designing patterns for machine knitters and teaching Machine Knitting and Calligraphy in Adult Education. I now teach Encaustic Art . I like to demonstrate this exciting... |
