These paintings are influenced by dance, music and color sensation.
Color, line and pattern are pictorial devices that I use to portray the mythic movement of the elements: Ether, Air, Fire, Earth and Water. I apply multiple layers of paint to achieve contrasts of light/dark, warm/cool, and hard/ soft edges.
