Artist Statement:
This first page is an automatic reaction to my new dance passion,
I started painting on vests and leotard for dancers.
I even hand-painted my dancing shoes with the magic "eye" of old lore.
The following pages will show some of my artwork and illustrations.
"Alexia of the Nile", a.k.a. Kim, my wonderful teacher,
is a constant inspiration with her contageous charisma...
and from her links pages there's a whole world of beauty out there.
I feel an enormous attraction for the gypsy world, it's in my blood.
I've painted all my life. I have found a dream life inside my paintings that always kept me safe on cloud 9 while a storm could be raging around me in real life.
It's about love of course. I hear a lot of people saying today, especially students, "I can't hold a pencil. I just can't do it". To them I'd like to say, love it. If you love it, that's half the battle won. It takes time and practice like any other discipline, but the results are well worth your time. It is a calling too, like any other. Some ...
