Artist Statement:
The act of creation is one of
the best qualities we human
beings possess. I use an
intuitive process. I "look"
into myself and allow whatever
is there to emerge and express
itself. The result is a work
of imagination that is
spontaneous and childlike. In
fact , in the process of
creating I attempt to get in
touch with the child within. I
use form and color to describe
an inner world which is
sometimes jubilant, sometimes
sad, but always honest and
direct. Moods change from
moment to moment and I am
affected by nature and my
enviornment, social and
religious themes express
themselves from the
unconscious. These elelents
come together as I work to
create an visual vocabulary
that remains personal and
unique while exploring a
variety of modes and media....
