Artist Statement:
Living in the Nelson region I
am struck by the beautiful
scenery that surrounds me. I
try to depict this in my work.
I consider myself fortunate
to live in New Zealand with
all its natural and vivid
scenery and ever-changing
seasonal colours. My other
love is the form and colour of
our native flora and fauna and
I like to include this in my
work.
Many of my works are scenic
landscapes of New Zealand that
I capture with the use of my
digital camera then transform
into textile artwork. I love
to add our native flora and
fauna to enhance the borders
as you can see in many of my
works....
