Artist Statement:
I am a visual artist from
Gyumri, the second biggest
city in Armenia. Currently I
live and work in Gyumri. In
2008 he finished my studies at
Gyumri Academy of Art in the
department of visual art. I am
working in a spectrum of media
spanning from film and
photography to installation
and performance. Often working
with young artists,
alternative ways of
interpreting the geopolitical
transformation in the Caucasus
region has been an important
creative challenge contained
in my works. Together with my
colleges, young art
representatives of Gyumri; I
am co-initiator of alternative
cultural group “5th FLOOR” in
Gyumri....
