| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
My biggest inspiration was hearing the words from Freida Kahlo, I paint as self expression, nothing more. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Being an artist was something I discovered as a child but was unaware of the title 'artist'. As a designer I was called artist but did not embrace the term feel undeserving of what I deem such an honorable title. Evolving into a visual artist just happened organically. There was no plan. |

| Your Personal Biography |
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Arrachme has enjoyed a professional career as an accomplished artist that spans over twenty years. She founded her own A.S.I.D. (Accredited Florida Interior Design Firm) where her designs and her students' work were displayed in residential, commercial, and celebrity homes. She also authored a newspaper column that included educational articles on art history, color, and technique.
Arrachme's family is from India. She is a grandchild of the Brahman spiritual teacher named Parah. "Spiritual practice and an artist's life are a natural pairing," Arrachme says. She follows the teachings of Bagahvan Ramana Maharshi which also supports the words and teachings of Jesus.
In 1998, Arrachme moved to Asheville, N.C., and developed the first Internet driven tourism business of its kind. Its success afforded her the time to write an autobiographical novel, “Awakening Woo”. While illustrating the chapters, she discovered a powerful passion for painting.
The magic of the mountains continued. In 2006 as a birthday event, Arrachme met Peter Collins, a British gentleman. Like a fairytale, he rode into her life on his white Arabian horse. Romantically he bent on one knee. Today they live with their horses at their Equestrian ranch in the Pisgah National Forest. Surrounded by mountain views, butterflies, gentle deer,a trout filled river, and great neighborhood friends; they are free to enjoy a peaceful spiritual life filled with beauty and love. She knew Peter was the right person when a deer mistook Peter's energy pattern, thinking he was another deer and came up to him to play.
Peter not only strongly supports her, he supports the Asheville Preforming Arts, he sits on boards and actively engages in activities. As an excellent singer/songwriter and musician, he begins most mornings with much musical joy. Their artistic life is best reflected in one of Mr. Collins' favorite saying, "Like a hand in a glove."
In 2006 another miracle graced Arrachme’s life. Accomplished teacher and internationally renowned artist, Vadim Bora, adopted her as a student. She says, “It is an honor and a blessing to be a pupil of such an incredible artist and kind teacher.”
And the miracles keep happening...
