About the Artist:COLOUR- I
love colour! I saturate the
objects in my paintings in
colour, often creating
monochromatic paintings that
challange me to work subtly
within each hue. SYMBOLISM-
In my work I use strong,
universal symbols that have
lasted from ancient
civilizations to the present.
I try to create contemplative
paintings that are visually
soothing.
About the Artwork: artwork
includes oil paintings,
drawings, intaglio, collage,
and watercolour. Most oil
paintings are painted entirely
with palette knives. Subject
matter includes: colour,
classical human form, flowers
and other aspects of nature,
mountains, pattern, pottery,
temples, waterfalls,
fountains,and light....
