Artist Statement:
Diana knew that art was her
life the first time she picked
up a camera and saw a sunset.
Born in Kansas, Diana grew up
with a camera in one hand and
a paintbrush in the other.
Marriage and rearing three
sons did not stop her from
furthering her photographic
career of portraits and
weddings. The past two years,
Diana has been expanding the
boundaries of her photography
and began an exploration of
photo art, showing an
exceptional talent to capture
the spirit shining through the
subject. Recently, she has
returned to her old loves of
pastels and paint.
Experimentation of mixing the
three mediums inspires and
pushes her to greater
creativity and production. Her
