Artist Statement:
Unusual art for unusual
people. That's the aim of my
work here at STUDIO REX.
My fine art and performance
mask work includes motifs
ranging from the satirical,
whimsical and mythological to
masks exploring the
sub-conscious and dream
realms... Always with an eye
to the transformationl power
of masks, be that laughter or
inspirational.
I also create TIME TRAVELLER
CLOCKS and an odd assortment
of unusual decorations,
ornaments and curiosities,
which you are invited to view,
and purchase even, at my

As my old mentor, Prof. Art
Phang once said; "Art is a
device for transporting minds
to unexpected destinations.
Life is automatic; art an
attempt to alter that fact."
