Artist Statement:
My existence and nostalgia revolves around nature, each time I think of starting a work. Fondness towards nature is a huge fascination now. As I couldn’t abstain thinking of the gap which this human generation has created. The development caused through destruction of natural resources keeps the relation between human existence and nature very far apart. I spent my childhood holidays playing on sand and short trips into the forests with my dad. I couldn’t see that sort of relation with nature in the urban civilization and the children themselves are being kept apart from natural pleasure. The flora and fauna of the place I had visited always insisted my visuals to be a part of it. It has its own way of keeping the relation with human beings by attracting ourselves to them. But the human being most civilized, neglect those pleasures.
This thought had been always insisting me each time I start on a new work. My bondage with nature is what I am trying to experience and convey through my works. I wish to continue the same process, ideology and thought through my works.
