Lisbeth Joan, artist and
textile designer from Denmark,
has worked for several years
with textile design, graphics,
illustration and painted
artwork.
Lisbeth's work has many facets
and her paintings often
originate from the beauty of
nature or elements of
everyday-life, arranged with
an abstract touch.
She has a close relationship
to the Sørland area of Norway
and the Norwegian archipelago
and the motifs and colours of
many of her canvasses reflect
this.
“When painting, I often seek
the contrast in colours as
well as a spontanious and free
expression, which is more
important to me than “the
recognizable reality”/to
capture “the so called real
world.”
