Artist Statement:
I created these drawings for
several reasons. First, I
enjoy the challenge of
creating a realistic look to
my drawings. Second, I enjoy
provoking feelings from my
work. The challenge, for me,
is to create a drawing that
will bring forth a memory from
the viewers mind. This memory
is comparable to remembering
an event that is linked to a
particular song. The people in
these pieces are also deeply
thinking of a memory. It is
the viewers job to decide what
they are thinking.
Third, but most important, I
created this work to share a
spitiual message. Take a look
and see what messages you get
from them.
