Simply put, we live in darkness. This quality bends and controls me, defining my work, decaying into darkness and ...

| Your Personal Biography |
B. 1981 the day after aerobic excitement of mother while traversing hill at Durham Fair. Lived in several towns in CT early while learning about mental illness and the dissonance of family. Usually, neighbors nearby had chickens, which were usually disturbed by our dogs. First cat acquired during first dog's willful walkabout for about a month. Self-awareness as part of a whole came about around the loss of virginity in the bedroom of a high-school cheerleader who was currently facing extreme self-image issues. Painted and glued throughout public schooling, assembled wisdom and called it insight.
Moved several times, living on kindness, guitar, and tattoo money. Learned where to find futons and where to set them up. Borrowed money from various people without foreseeable means with which to pay them back. Still haven't.
Attended various schools, and when the government and others realized that they were never getting their money back, audited classes at schools until they realized they had given away education nearly to the value of a master's degree.
After discovering that many professors were wrong, and that indeed watercolor does work on canvas as well as oil (although not nearly as well as on watercolor paper), created a series of commissions for people using that medium. Also took business orders and twisted the commissions to anti-corporate themes. Sold a bunch of post-it notes in a large frame. It was the most money this art ever made.
D. 1999 after consuming 1/2 handle of rum.
R. 1999 after vomiting for hours. Vomited for days.
D. 2003 after conuming 1 L. of Jack. Vomited less.
R. 2003 after much less vomiting, much more romantic whining. Walked 5 miles in the sun then went to court and won. Slept for days.
D. 2007 after a jerk in a Lexus drove head on into car.
R. 2007 after a short ambulance ride.
Music has been written, art has been created, movies have been filmed, and sleep is, as always, sorely needed.
