Your Personal Biography Né le 13 janvier 1941 à Basse-Indre (Nantes), Tristan Bastit vit et travaille à Paris. Formation dans l’atelier de Henri Goetz, aux Beaux-Arts de Paris, et Johny Friedlander pour la gravure. Etudes litterraires à la Sorbonne. En 1970 il fonde le collectif « Atelier Sauve qui Peut » qui jusqu’en 1976 sera le lieu de travail de nombreux artistes. Plusieurs séjours aux USA et en Italie auront une influence marquante. En 1985 il intègre l’« Ouvroir de peinture potentielle » dont les travaux feront l’objet d’une publication « Du potentiel dans l’art » (Seuil 2005). Il est Provéditeur du Collège de ‘Pataphysique.
Nombreuses expositions en France et en Europe, et récemment au Centre des Arts de Douarnenez.
