Artist Statement for Vivian Baumgartner

|
My artwork speaks of the emotional stimulation I have felt from the hearts I’ve loved and the beautiful essence of those places I’ve been has remained a part of me. My art has taught me to think for myself, protect myself, and take care of myself so I can connect and share the love I feel. I understand the wants, needs, and the sufferings of others. There cries have opened my senses up so I can create these images I felt from them. The healing of my loved ones’ physical, emotional, and spiritual passions has become my artwork. I feel excitement just to see them smile, dance, laugh, or cry when they understand that love is the only emotion that matters in artwork. So you see, my artwork is who I am.
