I paint only what I have
personally observed. I don't
make up or create scenes. In
so doing you help to ensure
that the work has Naturalistic
Authenticity. With a
background in Natural
Resources I feel I see
Naruralistic scenes more
clearly than I would
otherwise. This helps me to
more accurately convey my
interpretation of what it
would be like to stand there
and see that particular
