Artist Statement:
I paint only what I have
personally observed today (but
in past years I did some
'created scenes' as typified
by the Pen & Inks below). I
don't make up or create scenes
today. In so doing you help to
ensure that the work has
Naturalistic Authenticity.
With a background in Natural
Resources I feel I see
Naruralistic scenes more
clearly than I would
otherwise. This helps me to
more accurately convey my
interpretation of what it
would be like to stand there
and see that particular
