Artist Statement

Architect, independent researcher, artist and activist, he has developed his work between art, architecture and active citizenship. Since 1996 he has been using the BERNYNAVIGATOR alter ego, conducting research on the aesthetic practice of wandering. Use drawing and painting on paper and canvas, even small ones. In 97 he obtained a degree in Architecture in Naples. In the period 20002001 he collaborated with some design studios in the U.K. as an assistant architect. He was co-founder of the Basilicata Migrants Observatory of which he was an activist from 2009 to 2016, member of the planning commission of the Order of Architects of BAT between 2014-2016, he collaborated in R.T.P. with archiEtica ethical architecture and landscape design laboratory. He is an activist of Oil Forest League, the first free school of architecture and design in Italy, and of Artist for Rojava...
