Artist Statement for Barbara Jensen

|
We think of our work as art you can touch, functional art for everyday use. Together, the two of us design and produce every piece that comes out of our studio. Our tiles, pottery and lamps are made entirely by hand from the wet clay to the final firing. Designs can be repeated, but no two are ever exactly alike.
Our small pottery operates in a manner that is more ecologically balanced than our industrial counterpart. For this reason, as well as for the inherent vitality of work made by hand, we feel our work is superior in every way to mass-produced items.
Our work is found in homes, businesses, and collections all over the country. We hope it will find a natural and useful place in your home.
We've been in business for over thirty years; quality products, good service, and happy customers are our priorities. We hope you will use our work confident that you have chosen a classic look in a material that will last forever.
