Artist Statement:
What is Art, what is
surprising and what is an
artist?
Art is for me the result of
the desire to express
themselves / their positions
visually in some form.
It was easily right?
Art can of course be
political, religious, opinion
formers and with much more.
Sometimes reflects the inside
world, we can not see with our
eyes but sometimes only
imagined.
Sometimes, it is about money.
Yes, now it became more
difficult.
Strangely, it is much that is.
Some artists are weird, some
art is strange.
But it is not a privilege for
artists, strange, you can find
anywhere.
It was perhaps not so
surprising.
What is an artist? There may
be one of the critics
recognized artist, sometimes a
self-proclaimed artist. In
many cases, the person in
question is not whether it is
an artist. Then it will
become the world to assess.
However, anyway, so it is in
the operators hands or in the
eye of the beholder. Sometimes
the two coincide....

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
All I can do is paint, paint, paint ...
It is my motivation in life. I breathe color, I eat paint, I am living color.
Right now I write children's books and illustrate them.
I have written a children's book about a walk with the cows.
I have written about Ida, who never get any time.
Right now, I write about when grandma got sick.
Of course, I paint pictures for my stories.
Pictures I have painted in quantities. Large adorn the walls, I like the murals. All the furniture is painted, too. |

| Your Personal Biography |
was born in September 1963 so I am a Virgo.
My childhood was based on the countryside in a very small village. I
was the only child and had plenty of time to use my imagination. I talked
with the dogs, cows, crows and many other animals who lived in my
home. And painted of course, all the time.
I feel so pleased to se that I have been chosen, 50 most wanted in Saatchi Showdown five times now.
I painted long before I have seen any paintings, so I´m not shure where i began.
But my grandfathers brother had a bible with amazing paintings in it, and I could look in it for ours.
My first inspiration (as adult)that I remebember was Salvador Dali. Hilma af Klint and Frida Kahlo has also been a big inspiration. |
