Artist Statement:
I have been a professional
artist for over 35 years and I
have yet to discover my
grounding place, but then a
true artist never has one. I
have created in many mediums
and have created pieces that
are hung on collectors walls.
It is a feeling of great lose
when one of my original is
gone and I know all artists
feel this pain for it is a
part of us an extention of our
own self being taken. I am shy
and inward sometimes and then
I will bust forward let go my
expression in a furry. I am no
different than others there is
a bond there and it is
welcomed by me to those who
value art either through
buying or creating. Artist are
the leaders of movements and
feelings. We have a vital role
either through works in color
or black and white Also
kindred with those in music
and or dance etc. We make the
world go round for many and if
it be know artist can change
the hardest of hearts. ...

Exhibitions for Mary Fleming Hibbert:

1. From May 1st 2009 to May 25th 2009 Collective Exhibition of 200 Global Artists participated in "ART ON RECORD 2" at the APW Gallery NYC USA. I, Mary Fleming Hibbert was one of the 200 artists who submitted 5 works for the show. This was an interesting project for the surface was old vinyl LP record albums. Very eco friendly and the beauty of this is that you do not need a frame or hook to display the records simply place a hook or nail through the LP hole to mount on the wall.
2. One day event "Record Expo 2009" Twenty of my "Art on Record" works will be on display and for sale at a local venue (Sussex New Brunswick Canada) This event will be held on June 13th 2009 from 10am -6pm I will be posting my work on this site and will be taking sales during the event not only there but also online.
3. In July entering into a 30" x 40" display spacing that is set aside for 200 Global artists at he APW Gallery. Within that space I will create someting not sure what yet.I will update
4. Submitting 5 Ink illustration where by 1 will be juried for an up and coming ART BOOK on New York City USA (project on going)
5. For the month of August I am having a one women show at the Sussex Art Co-op in Sussex New Brunswick Canada. Exhibiting at least 20-40 of my "Art on Record" works there. I will have this Exhibition up on the absolutearts.com site and you are more than welcome to buy the original. You may particapate by buying works only stipulation is that the works will not be shipped out until the exibition is finished at the end of the show. (around August 31st.)
6. November (date to be anounced) collective art view and sale by Sussex Art Co-op and Sussex Art Club.
