Artist Statement:
My work reflects the intense
effects of light and shadow.
Most of my subjects are in
some form of outdoor setting
in bright sunlight. My
favorite areas of focus are
people especially children. I
also work in pen and ink with
watercolor washes and usually
use this technique while
rendering wildlife subjects.
I am completely self taught
and have learned mostly
through trial and error. ...
