Artist Statement:
Thank you for your interest in
my current work! Sometimes it
seems like my motivations have
been based out of plain, old
selfishness, as I do love
painting, and for me it's all
about a little peace. Life
experiences have take me to
some of the most beautiful
places in the world, and when
I discovered I could visit
those settings with a palette
and brush and recapture some
of the peace and calm to be
found within...well, I knew
what I was suppose to be
doing.
In January of 2004 I opened
the Brian Drake Studio and
Gallery in Stephenville, Texas
where I sell my own work as
well as a select group of
accomplished artists' pieces,
and I take great pride in the
promotion of their talents.
Again, I thank you for your
interest, and I hope some of
my "peace" might find its way
into your home....
