Painting
“Painting is my real essence. It’s my great love. It’s the way I see reality. It’s time, need and hunger at the same time. It’s the inner truth of myself. It’s something I long to be, absence, colours, déjà vu, existence, the questions you ask to yourself, the strange. It is the promised land. It’s the sky, heaven, freedom, unconditional love. Everything it’s incarnated in there, in a quiet landscape or a fragment from reality.
The sense of time is very strong in a way that it becomes disturbing. It is reflected in various forms, sometimes either through the strong love for life, some other times through the fear from the unknown. It is persistently in my mind every second. I have to rush in order to get hold of it; I have to freeze all the fragments, to immortalize it in one way or another; I have to, because I need to be happy, I need to give a meaning to my existence.
