Artist Statement:
I do not attempt or even
intend to change others'
minds, opinions, views,
beliefs, or ideals with my
work. My goal is not to change
the world but rather just
share ideas and opinions that
the world can use to make its
own changes. I create simply
as a way to better understand
my own opinions, views, etc.
When I am moved, bothered,
excited, saddened, or touched
by something I experience I
strive to understand "why" and
"what for". I use my artwork
and the creative process as a
way to visualy interpret my
emotions. By breaking down and
analyze the various smaller
components of the emotion or
mood and whatever it may have
been that caused the emotion I
am then able to better
understand what truly makes me
tick. Most of my reccent work
can be thought of more as
visual, personal, essays on
life as I see it rather than
just pieces of artwork....
