Artist Statement for Bryce Jennings

Bryce is an award winning artist. His great talent enables Bryce to personalize your portrait, with consideration of your ideas and tastes, so that the finished work of art is how you - his valved client- envision your heirloom portrait. Bryce works in graphite, soft pastels and oil on canvas. Procedures for a portrait simply contact Bryce to set up an appiontment. On first meeting with the client Bryce will doing many sketch studies. Then a few photo shots are made for reference for the portrait.
Because I work from photographs, the inconvience and often expense associated with sittings can be avoided. Whenever possible, I perfer to take the photographs, since my needs for composition and lighting are rarely met through commercial studio photography.
Somtimes I need to work with photographs you have on hand, or to assit you in providing me the very best possible images.
