Artist Statement:
I’m an amateur photographer
working on becoming
professional.
I am not formally educated in
photography. My interest in
photography began at
university (I studied Fashion
& Textiles) when the first
assignment involved taking
pictures.
I bought my first digital
camera in 2001, and I haven’t
stopped shooting since then. I
started off taking pictures of
everything from landscape to
still life. Now, my interest
is mainly in still life,
although I still enjoy
landscape and people
photography.
I regularly participate in as
many competitions I can
handle, not for the prizes but
mainly for the criticism and
experience. I thoroughly enjoy
developing and learning new
techniques in photography, it
not only brings out my
creative side, it's fun too!
