Artist Statement:
Cabayol, Artist painter and draftsman born in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Spain) 1948. He started his studies with the painter Salvador Masana pupil of Joaquim Mir, and continued his studies at the School of Fine Arts and Craft of Mallorca.
Since 1966, when he showed his paintings in public he has made about 80 solo exhibitions and participed in more 250 collective exhibitions.
During his youth he participated in several artistic competitions being rewarded a many times.
Now, his themes are specially dedicated to the mediterranean popular aequitecture, with a style that has its roots in the Catalan School where delineation and coloration play a principal main role.
His work develops through realism, confirmed by his excellent drawing and his grasp of technique
