Artist Statement:
I paint because I like to. I
have done printmaking, oils,
etc, but it is watercolor
which I am now devoted to.
When I paint, I try to imagine
what a viewer may see.
Composition, color harmony and
a mood are what I seek. The
wet and transparent nature of
watercolor is fun to work
with.

In addition to painting, I also play lead guitar (Fender Telecaster) in a band. Building and restoring guitars and pianos is another interest of mine. Art and music are the driving forces in my life.
