Artist Statement:
Greetings,
My life has been entirely
dedicated to drawing nature in
detail, and to the
conservation of our beloved
animals. From college at the
Rochester Institute of
Technology to the world as my
teacher, I have spent 25 of my
40 years drawing and selling
strictly nature-related
artwork. Some of my influences
growing up were C.W.Anderson,
Sam Savitt (horse
artwork),Andrew Wyeth
(realism)and many other
talented people whose
techniques in art I liked. I
didn't choose art as a
profession, it chose me, it's
in the blood. From being
reprimanded for wading in
rivers during recess at school
(to study the fish there) to
taking hundreds of photographs
on every trip I go on, to
document the nature I see in
detail, my art is truly my
life and passion.
