Come see my work in Towhee Hill Studio. I am now on the "Round The Mountain Trail". Hours are 3-5 Tuesdays and Thursdays or by appointment. Also, come see my work at the Brown Insurance Agency July 18th through October 15th.
Although I have been in many national and international competitions I no longer compete on the national and international level. I do compete regionally and recently won an Honorable Mention at the Blacksburg Sidewalk Show 2006, Purchase award at "Expressions" 2005 in Martinsville, First place in Oils at the Montgomery Museum Fine Arts Festival, September 2004, Second Place Overall at the Blacksburg Sidewalk Show, June 2004 and First Place in Oils at "Expressions" in Martinsville, VA, 2003. At the Montgomery Museum Fine Arts Festival esteemed Roanoke artist Ann Glover likened my work to that of famed 20th colorist Pierre Bonnard. When Ann awarded first place in oils to me she said," How could I not give you first place?"
