Artist Statement:
New work this year includes
some Botanicals - a series of
four compositions, a large
triptych of three drawings
from the Ancient ruins of
Chichen Itza on the Yucatan
pennisula, Mexico and a large
number of commissioned
portraits. My Fine Portraiture
work is archival and designed
to be passed down through the
generations as family
heirlooms. These Private and
Public Commissions provide me
with the opportunity to work
on my own Fine Art projects
for Gallery Exhibitions. I
have completed hundreds of
private commissions for
clients throughout the United
States and find this work to
be extemely rewarding. Through
drawing I have recently
completed a collaboration
project with Poet Patricia
Roscoe titled PRIMAL THREADS-
a unique series of twelve
compostions exploring
ephemeral objects,
relationships, the impact on
memory and perception as it
relates to creativity,
perception and the experience
of life. This series is
currently available as Limited
Edition Giclee Fine Art
Prints!
This series is as much about
the artists intention as it is
about what the viewer brings
