Artist Statement:
As many other artists did, I started drawing when very young; making sketches of small mammals, birds and bugs.
I have always been fascinated with wildlife and I truly believe this passion for the animal world was the start for me to consider becoming a professional artist.
Using tempera as a medium and color pencils to work on my drawings, I was never familiar with oils nor acrylics until I was shown a painting by Robert Bateman. That completely changed my view about art and I decided to look deep into the world history of painting. I knew I could combine my love for wildlife with my artistic ability to create art.
Pursuing an art career has not been easy, but I guess that is part of what the art world is all about.
Only if the true God of the universe allows, I am committed to continue expressing my inspirations, my thoughts and feelings on canvas hoping that they will forever remain.
