Artist Statement:
My work has a Graphic style,
it is usually clear cut with
quite hard edges and always
representational. I work in a
variety of mediums but I like
colour and light. I enjoy the
challenge of producing
portrait drawings for
commissions but my forte is in
acrylic painting and mixed
media work. In my current
work I am trying to loosen up
and produce some more
experimental pieces.
Experimentation is something
that I have not had the
opportunity to do since
leaving Uni, so it's a real
luxury and enables greater
creativity. I have spent much
of my time responding to other
people's briefs for
commissions, and, although I
love to decorate bland
functional objects in my own
house, I now have the chance
to produce some really great
original art....
