Artist Statement:
The viseral goal of my work is
to give a sense of engagement
On one level my brand of
expression attempts to reflect
humanity as works in progress.
On another level it reflects
an attitude, posture relative
to my culture, history and
perspective.
The primary goal of my work is
to capture a moment in such a
way as to have the viewer
sense the energy of that
moment as related to the
subject matter,
The pieces are intentionally
designed to draw the eye,
convey a sense of active
“engagement” and serve as a
visual compliment to music,
conversation or distraction
intended to enhance one's
environment. Hopefully the
patron will find (as I do),
the imagery seductive,
enjoyable as well as
entertaining.
