|
My paintings are a vision of the past, the present, and the future. Reality and fantasy blended together to define what is true. My paintings are personal, intimate, and sensual. My goal is to draw you into the realm of the impossible and make it not only possible but probable.
Images of the real and the surreal merge to explore the culture that we live in. Emotions, relationships and the symbology of our culture rendered in a playful way in detail and subtlety. I use the pencil as a paint brush creating detailed images that are soft and subtle and yet still retain the texture of the pencil on paper. There is realism without being photo-real. They are thought provoking and "life-related”.
