Arts & Dogs: Portrait -
Painting - Drawing by Nicole
Zeug
My favourite subject are dogs.
Each dog has it's own
personality and it's a great
pleasure to me to explore the
different characters. I'm
painting and drawing since 20
thirty years now and I prefer
a naturalistic style. The
details and fine little things
that creates impression of a
"dogs face" are in the middle
of my focus. Very carefully I
try to interpretate with
colours and lines. It's not
just photorealism that I'm
interested in, I would like to
show the "real" dog behind the
photo.

I'm painting and drawing since 30 thirty years now and I prefer a naturalistic style. The details and fine little things that creates impression of a "dogs face" are in the middle of my focus. - born August 1964 at Hamburg
- 1984 final examination Abitur, art classes grade: 1+
- 1985-1990 study science of media and communication, university Hamburg; additionally study of architecture and history of art at academy of arts "Hochschule für bildende Künste" Hamburg, final examination diploma
- 1988-1990 artistic work at "Junger Arbeitskreis Film e.V." and organisation of film festivals for the media department Hamburg
- steady education in oil painting, acrylic, watercolour and pastel; member of the artist group "Culture Club"
- since 1991 mainly working in advertising and publishing houses
- beside several commissioned works in interior design and portrait painting
- 2006 foundation of Arts & Dogs, since then a lot of commissioned works in animal painting and drawing and exhibitions |
